This policy explains how Colloquize handles personal data when you visit colloquize.com or contact us through it. We keep it short because we collect very little: this site has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies.
Who we are
Colloquize is the data controller for this website. dev-test.uk and ticketFOMO are trading names within the Colloquize group, and the pages about them on this site are covered by this policy too.
For anything about your personal data, email info@colloquize.com.
The separate websites dev-test.uk and ticketfomo.com are not covered by this policy. If you buy tickets on ticketfomo.com, the information on that site and from the venue applies.
What we collect and why
| What | Why | Lawful basis | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Emails you send us: your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message | To reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to manage that relationship | Legitimate interests in answering enquiries, or steps you ask us to take before a contract | Up to 2 years after our last contact, unless it becomes client work, when our client record-keeping applies |
| Server logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page and browser type | To keep the site secure and working, and to investigate misuse | Legitimate interests in running a secure website | Up to 14 days, then deleted automatically |
About the contact forms. The forms on this site don’t send anything to our server. Pressing “Send message” opens a pre-filled email in your own email app, and nothing is sent until you send that email. Depending on the topic, it is addressed to:
- Colloquize: info@colloquize.com
- dev-test.uk: query@dev-test.uk
- ticketFOMO: info@ticketfomo.com
Please don’t include sensitive information (such as health details, passwords or payment card numbers) in an email to us.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set any cookies, and it doesn’t use similar technologies such as local storage, tracking pixels or device fingerprinting. There are no analytics, advertising or social media trackers, and no content (fonts, videos, maps) loaded from other companies’ servers, so there is nothing to accept or decline.
If we ever add a cookie that isn’t strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent personal data, and we don’t use it for marketing unless you ask us to. We use a small number of service providers who process data for us under contract: our website hosting provider (server logs) and our email provider (your emails). They may only use it to provide their service to us.
If one of these providers processes data outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as a UK adequacy decision or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Keeping it secure
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, access to our servers and mailboxes is restricted, and we keep the data we hold to a minimum.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your data
- ask us to restrict how we use your data
- object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests
- ask for your data in a portable format, where that applies
To use any of these rights, email info@colloquize.com. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if how we handle personal data changes, and change the date at the top.
